Each of the prayers listed below is considered to be especially efficacious. However, your half hour of prayer is yours to use as you discern is best. In church or elsewhere. With music or without. Supported by fasting or offerings or just a beautiful offering of prayer. The Holy Spirit is inviting you into this time of prayer in a way that is specific to you. Rejoice in the time that you can spend supporting our shepherds and these lambs who are being called into joining the flock.

OCIA Prayer
+The Sign of the Cross+
Life-Giving Father, you desire that we be one in Christ, so that all creation may give you praise. Look kindly upon the catechumens and candidates you have called to the table of your Word.
We pray especially for: Addison, Alayna, Alisa, Ashley, Bijou, Bryce, Camden, Connor, Evan, Grant, Ian, Izzy, Josh, Maddie, Mikhail, Sabrina, Sydney, Tyler, Vanessa, Zack, Ava, Royce, Connor, Abby and whoever else the Lord is calling including Brenna.
Through the power of your word, our life of prayer, and the example of Christ’s love we share with those most in need, may they come in time to the table of the Eucharist where we shall feast as one body united in the Holy Spirit to offer you praise and thanksgiving through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Prayer for the Catechumens from St. Basil
+The Sign of the Cross+
O Lord, our God, who dwellest in the heavens, and lookest down upon all thy works, look down upon thy servants, the catechumens, who have bowed their necks before thee, and grant them a light yoke. Make them honorable members of thy holy Church, and vouchsafe unto them the laver of regeneration, the forgiveness of sins, and the robe of incorruption, unto the knowledge of thee, our true God. Amen.
Te Deum
+The Sign of the Cross+
You are God: we praise you;
You are God: we acclaim you;
You are the eternal Father:
All creation worships you.
To you all angels, all the powers of heaven,
Cherubim and Seraphim, sing in endless praise:
Holy, holy, holy, Lord, God of power and might,
Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
The glorious company of apostles praise you.
The noble fellowship of prophets praise you.
The white-robed army of martyrs praise you.
Throughout the world the holy Church acclaims you:
Father, of majesty unbounded,
Your true and only Son, worthy of all worship,
And the Holy Spirit, advocate and guide.
You, Christ, are the king of glory,
The eternal Son of the Father.
When you became man to set us free
You did not spurn the Virgin’s womb.
You overcame the sting of death,
And opened the kingdom of heaven to all believers.
You are seated at God’s right hand in glory.
We believe that you will come, and be our judge.
Come then, Lord, and help your people,
Bought with the price of your own blood,
And bring us with your saints
To glory everlasting.
Save your people, Lord, and bless your inheritance.
Govern and uphold them now and always.
Day by day we bless you.
We praise your name forever.
Keep us today, Lord, from all sin.
Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy.
Lord, show us your love and mercy;
For we put our trust in you.
In you, Lord, is our hope:
And we shall never hope in vain
